East Boston

East Boston began as a center for shipbuilding and has always been a neighborhood of immigrants, today largely Italian-Americans and immigrants from Central and South America and Southeast Asia. Logan Airport is located here, the housing includes many restored triple-deckers, and residents look across Boston Harbor at the city skyline.
